Dental adhesive for light- and chemically cured composite materials "Belabond" (one-component self-etching light-cured adhesive) (hereinafter – one-component self-etching light-cured adhesive "Belabond") is used to ensure adhesion and tight edge fit during direct restorations: light-cured or dual-cured composite materials to tooth hard tissues (enamel, dentine), as well as composite materials, ceramics and metal, amalgam; and indirect restorations (in combination with materials for fixing): veneers, crowns, bridges, inlays and metal structures, as well as when restorations the stump of the tooth and fixing pins, as well as silane for ceramic restorations and primer for metal and composite restorations.
FEATURES
One-component self-etching light-cured adhesive "Belabond" contains multifunctional methacrylate oligomers (Bis-GMA, UDMA, TEGDMA, HEMA, etc.), 7% composition of modified colloidal silicon dioxide, mono and multifunctional polymerizable adhesive acid monomers resistant to hydrolysis, polymerization activators, stabilizers, three-component solvent system. Fine filler promotes the formation of thin film during single application of the adhesive, provides high level of protection against microleakage, improves mechanical and rheological properties, and reduces polymerization shrinkage.
One-component self-etching light-cured adhesive "Belabond" does not require preliminary acid etching of the tooth hard surfaces, has good wetting properties, and easy penetrates the surface “smeared” layer of dentine, partially dissolving it. Multifunctional monomers included in the adhesive promote the formation of chemical bond with tooth tissues and the formation of retention polymer strands in the dentinal tubules. Thanks to the simultaneous process of conditioning and diffusion, the infiltration of monomers exactly matches the depth of mineralization.
One-component self-etching light-cured adhesive "Belabond" provides strong connection to any surfaces and materials, based on chemical and/or mechanical adhesion, ensuring tight edge seal. Reactive groups of adhesive monomers interact with calcium ions of hydroxyapatite of tooth tissues and amino groups of collagen fibers, which provides additional strength of the connection due to chemical bonding with wet dentine and enamel. The adhesive has chemical affinity with the oligomeric binder of composite materials and spreads in thin layer over the surface being treated, ensuring reliable bond between the tooth tissue and the composite. The three-component solvent system included in the adhesive ensures its stability during storage.
One-component self-etching light-cured adhesive "Belabond" is applicable to ensure adhesion of both direct and indirect (in combination with light- or dual-cured materials) restorations, suitable for any technique: total, selective and self-etching. Thin 5 μm adhesive film does not increase the size of the orthopedic structure.
