AKSIL-LC desensitizer
PURPOSE

Material for protection from saliva while fillings hardening «Aksil»-LC desensitizer (hereinafter – material «Aksil»-LC desensitizer) is used to prevent and treat hypersensitivity of tooth hard tissues in case of loss of the protective enamel layer - erasability due to chewing load or as a result of improper brushing; erosion that occurs under the influence of aggressive environmental factors, as well as relieving symptoms and / or preventing hypersensitivity of teeth after preparation during direct and indirect restoration, loss of cement in the root area due to the following causes: periodontal disease, incorrect oral hygiene, permanent injury due to bad habits, periodontal surgery, lack of indications for filling defects.
FEATURES
The composition of material «Aksil»-LC desensitizer includes oligometacrylate compounds: bisphenol glycedyl dimethacrylate (Bis-GMA), triethylene glycol dimethacrylate, 2 - hydroxyethylmethacrylate (HEMA), methacrylic monomer of phosphoric acid (10-MDP), solvent, initiators and stabilizers. The desensitizer has good adhesion to tooth hard tissues, cures quickly under the action of photopolymerizer light, forming a protective coating. The desensitizer reliably protects dentine from pain reactions (hypersensitivity) caused by chemical, thermal or osmotic stimuli that are not associated with tooth destruction or other pathological processes. The desensitizer effectively penetrates and blocks the dentine tubules, preventing the flow of dentine fluid, which is the cause of hypersensitivity. The durable film formed on the tooth hard tissues prevents premature loss as a result of abrasion and/or chemical erosion of the exposed dentine and the cervical part of the tooth.
