PURPOSE

Dental adhesive for light- and chemically cured composite materials "Belabond" (onecomponent light-cured adhesive) (hereinafter – one-component light-cured adhesive "Belabond") is used to ensure adhesion and tight edge fit of direct restorations: light-cured composite materials to hard tissues (enamel, dentine) of the tooth, as well as composite materials, ceramics and metal, amalgam; indirect restorations (in combination with materials for fixation): veneers, crowns, bridges, inlays and metal structures, as well as when restoring the stump of the tooth and fixing pins.
FEATURES
One-component light-cured adhesive "Belabond" contains di-, mono- and multifunctional methacrylate oligomers (Bis-GMA, UDMA, TEGDMA, HEMA, etc.), 15% composition of modified fillers of aluminobarium borosilicate glass and colloidal silicon dioxide, polymerizable adhesive acid monomers resistant to hydrolysis, polymerization activators, stabilizers, solvents. Fine fillers contribute to the formation of thin film with single application of the adhesive, provide a high level of protection against micro-flows, improve mechanical and rheological properties, and reduce polymerization shrinkage.
One-component light-cured adhesive "Belabond" provides strong connection between different surfaces based on chemical and mechanical adhesion, tight edge fit, which reduces the risk of repeated caries and bacterial contamination. Reactive groups of adhesive monomers interacting with calcium ions of hydroxyapatite of tooth tissues and amino groups of collagen fibers provide additional bond strength due to chemical bonding with wet dentine and enamel. The adhesive has chemical affinity with the oligomeric binder of composite materials, spreads in thin layer over the treated surface, ensuring reliable connection of tooth tissues with the composite. Multifunctional oligomers included in the adhesive ensure its stability during storage.
One-component light-cured adhesive "Belabond" is applicable to ensure adhesion of both direct and indirect (in combination with light- or double-cured materials) restorations in combination with total etching.
